For those who have excessively high and rigid standards for their trading performance ultimately costing you your profits. Perfectionism, or more accurately, unrelenting standards, often creates chronic stress and anxiety and reinforces inadequacy and chronic disappointment when you fall short of goals, creating a cycle of hyper-self-criticism and pushing harder only to get the same result.
This results in self-imposed pressure to perform at unsustainable levels, leading to burnout, emotional distress, impaired decision-making, and being overly critical of yourself, feeling that any trading mistake or loss is unacceptable. This can result in excessive self-blame, fear of failure, and a tendency to avoid taking risks, limiting your trading potential and leading to missed opportunities.

- Evolutionary Psychology
- Compensatory Perfectionism
- Entitled Perfectionism
Telling On Yourself:
- Your Unbalanced Beam
- Values and Accountability
- Interpersonal Trading
Getting Grey:

Objectives:

Create, implement and execute a daily Trade Psych Plan suited to perfectionism.
Implement tools to change your relationship with the underlying drivers of your perfectionistic behaviors.
Understand the genesis of perfectionism in your life and understand the true cost-benefit analysis vs. the culturally reinforced analysis.
